Blossom Hotel Houston Medical Center is dedicated to protecting our website's visitors' privacy. 

This policy will inform you of what type of information we may gather, how we use that information, whether we disclose it, and your ability to manage and edit that information. This Privacy Policy applies to this Site and does not apply to other linked web sites.

  

Information Collection 

When you choose to use these features such as registering to receive information or providing feedback, we collect information such as your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, and other personal information (“Personal Information”). We use Personal Information for general purposes such as: fulfilling requests for information and services requested through the Site, creating personal accounts, sending users press releases, updates, or other general information about Blossom, to meet any applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and to respond to any feedback you submit. 
Blossom may also automatically gather information about the use of the Site, such as frequently visited pages, including the use of cookies, web beacons and other technologies.

When you give Blossom Houston Personal Information, steps are taken to ensure your information is handled securely. Blossom uses industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving sensitive visitor data via the Site. Therefore, while striving to protect your Personal Information, Blossom cannot ensure or warrant the security of any Personal Information and it is submitted at your own risk. Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade or rent your Personal Information. We may permit certain trusted partners to access your select information in order to maintain and operate the Site and certain features on the Site. We use non-personally identifiable information in the aggregate so that we can improve the Site and for business and administrative purposes. We may also share with third parties aggregated data that contains no personally identifiable information.

Our website may share information with companies that provide support services (such as web hosts) or that market our products and services (such as email vendors). These companies may need information about you in order to perform their functions. These companies are not authorized to use the information for any other purpose.

Except as otherwise stated, we will not publish or provide your e-mail address or other Personal Information to third parties without your consent.

CALIFORNIA CONSUMERS’ RIGHTS 

The California Consumer Privacy Act “CCPA”) affords California consumers

(2) the right to request that we delete their personal information; and  

(3) the right to request that we no longer sell their personal information.

Requesting to delete or requesting to no longer sell information can be done by sending an e-mail to dataprivacy@blossomhouston.com or calling us at 832-734-8888 and stating you would like all data deleted from our systems or for us not to sell your data.

When your request is received, we will verify identity by asking name, confirmation number and date from one of your stays at the Hotel, and the email address associated with that stay. Once we are able to verify identity, we will promptly fulfill your request.

If you would like, you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. In order to designate an authorized agent, please submit an order issued by a court, a document submitted by a barred attorney, or a formal certified document issued by an official governmental agency. 

 

Direct Marketing Disclosure 

California consumers may also request information on disclosures of categories of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Such requests must be submitted to dataprivacy@blossomhouston.com. Within thirty days of receiving request, we will provide a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for third-party direct marketing purposes during preceding calendar year, along with the names and addresses of these third parties. This request will only be processed once per calendar year.  

 

The Right to Non-Discrimination 

The CCPA prohibits a business from treating a consumer differently because the consumer exercised a right conferred on him/her by the CCPA. We welcome you to exercise your rights under the CCPA, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so

 

Removal of Content 

If you are a California resident under 18 years of age, and a registered user of any site where this policy is posted, California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 permits you to request and obtain removal of content or information you have publicly posted. To make such a request, please send an email with a detailed description of the specific content or information to data privacy@blossomhouston.com. Please be aware that such a request does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content you have posted and that there may be circumstances in which the law does not require or allow removal even if requested.

Blossom reserves the right to change our Privacy Policy for the Site at any time. In the event of a change, we will post the revised Policy so that you will know what information we gather, how we use it and whether we will disclose it to anyone. Please check periodically to understand any changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
